Some times beauty can be found in the strangest places
Even in a forest that looks pretty bleak.
I saw beauty in the distance that told me the forest was still alive because I could see an image of a heart beat in the distant trees. I hope You can see it to!
I have spent most of my summer and fall in Calgary caring for an ill parent, and now I am ready to work or should I say play.
Good Art is work and playing is what you need to do. You need to put in the hours to get good at it. They say practice makes perfect or should I say, " practice practice practice and you will see growth".
Working on a few large paintings now somewhat out of my comfort zone but occasionally I surprise myself. The more I plan the better the execution.
I plan in my sleep. I swear I can plan a whole painting and finish it before I get up. What a great feeling. No wonder people say I paint fast, I can already see it finished in my head.
Shortly I will post photos
I have been away all summer. I even missed the opening of the "Sooke Fine Art Show" but I was thrilled when my painting found a new home so quickly. I am charged now and ready to go.
Soon there will be lots more paintings to view. I need to work harder then ever while I can, as I may need some surgery soon. Please "Check back soon".
